₹144 Share Declares Dividend; Company’s Profit Has Increased By About 6 Percent

Bhansali Engineering Polymers Ltd: Specialty chemical firm Bhansali Engineering Polymers has released its first-quarter earnings.

The profits of the business have increased by 6 percent compared to the year before. However, there’s been an increase of over 15 percent in revenue.

EBITDA has grown by approximately 9 percent. But margins have shown an increase compared to last year. In addition, the company also declared the first interim dividend to its shareholders.

How Were The Company’s Results?

The profit of the company has grown to 5.6 percent to Rs 53.4 crore, compared to the previous year. The previous year it was the amount of Rs 50.5 crore.

In the same period, the profit has grown by 15.4 percent to reach Rs 340 crore as compared to the previous year. In the year before the company’s revenues from the business was the sum of Rs 294.5 crore.

EBITDA has grown by 8.7 percent to Rs 61.4 crore. But, the margins have dipped to 18.1 percent, down from 19.2 percent last year.

Announcement Of Dividend

In addition to results, the company has also announced its inaugural interim dividend. The company will offer shareholders a dividend of 1 rupee per share.

The company says that the official date to pay the dividend has been set at 25 July. This dividend is due on August 2nd.

The stock experienced an abrupt decline in the last session. The closing price was 143.6 with a drop in the range of 4.5 percent. The stock has posted an increase of 49 percent during a month.

The stock on July 5 surpassed the 157 mark, but before June 15, the stock was stagnant for the whole year. Annual returns of the stock are only 54 percent.
