How Were The Quarterly Results?
According to the company, the company has suffered a loss of Rs 6432 crore in the June quarter. In the March quarter, the company’s loss was Rs 7674 crore and in the same quarter last year, the loss was Rs 7840 crore.
Income through business has been at Rs 10508 crore, which was Rs 10606 crore in the March quarter and Rs 10655 crore in the same quarter last year.
EBITDA stood at Rs 4204 crore, which was Rs 4335 crore in the March quarter and Rs 4157 crore a year ago.
EBITDA margins stood at 40 percent in the June quarter, which was 39 percent a year ago and 40.9 percent in the March quarter.
How Was The Business Performance?
Average revenue per user stood at Rs 146 in the June quarter, which was Rs 139 a year ago, and Rs 146 in the March quarter. It has grown by 5 percent on a year-on-year basis.
The company’s subscriber base continues to decline and now the base has come down to 21 crores. It was Rs 21.2 crore in the March quarter and Rs 22.1 crore a year ago.
The share of pre-paid subscribers in the total subscriber base has been 88 percent.
