In comparison to the quarter ended in October-December of the fiscal year 2022-23, the profits in the quarter between October and December of the financial year 2023-24 increased from the previous quarter of Rs 2,958 crore, to 7025 crore.
However, the market was expecting profit to increase to Rs 4,071 crore.
The income of Tata Motors has also increased. Compared to the October-December quarter of the financial year 2022-23, the revenue during the period of October-December in the financial year 2023-24 has increased from Rs 88,489 crore to 1.10lakh crore.
However, markets had anticipated the earnings to rise to 1.07 lakh crore. The company has seen an increase of 25 percent in this revenue.
EBITDA at Tata Motors has also increased. In comparison to the October-December quarter of the year 2022-23 the working profit i.e.
EBITDA was increased from 9,644 crore to a whopping Rs 15,333 crore in the November-December quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24.
However, the market was expecting it to increase to Rs 13,880 crore. During this period it has grown by 43 percent. Margins of Tata Motors have also increased.
When compared to the period between October and December of the fiscal year 2022-23, the margin increased to 13.9 percent in the November-December quarter of 2023-24.
The market had expected the margin to rise to 12.9 percent. Tata Motors said that good growth is expected in the January-March quarter also.
The company’s fourth-quarter margins may improve due to new launches and better supply. JLR’s performance will be even better.
JLR GUIDANCE- JLR i.e. Jaguar Land Rover has increased the EBIT Margin Guidance for FY24. The company says that it can increase from 6 percent to 8 percent.
