12414% Massive Return; Again 495 Cr New Order; Share Target ₹276 And ₹300

Stock Order: Shares of Indian Hume Pipe Company Ltd:(NSE: INDIANHUME)may remain in focus during trading today on Thursday. Earlier on Wednesday, the stock had increased by more than 15% during trading. 

The company’s shares had also reached an intraday high of Rs 271. There is a big order behind this rise in shares, information about which has been given to the market by the company.

Indian Hume Pipe Company has informed about receiving work orders worth ₹ 495 crore from Maharashtra. This share has given 12,414.63% return so far. This share may go upto ₹276 And ₹300.

What Is The Order?

According to a company filing with the stock exchanges it received an order for Rs 495.04 crores worth of products from Tapi Irrigation Development Corporation Jalgaon in the Jalgaon Irrigation Project Circle (Maharashtra).

The order value is not inclusive of GST, land costs, crop compensation, or insurance.

The company has received an order for civil, mechanical, and electrical works to be carried out for the pressurized distribution network of Varkhede Londhe’s Irrigation project.

This includes five years of operation and maintenance for the entire system. The company has said that the target has been set to complete this project within 24 months.

December Quarter Results

The net profit of the company increased by 20% year-over-year to Rs15.14 Crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2023, compared to Rs12.65 Crore in the same period the previous year.

The net sales of the quarter rose by 21%, from Rs404.74 to Rs318.53 Crores.

These pipes are used for infrastructure development and projects like drinking water supply, irrigation, sanitation, and sewerage.

It provides urban and rural water supplies, large-diameter irrigation pipes, headworks including pumping machines, treatment plants, and overhead tanks as well as other civil construction. 

The company also produces and supplies concrete sleepers to Indian railways. The Company’s customers are the federal government, state governments, and local authorities.
