Berger Paints (NSE: BERGEPAINT) has informed that the company has entered into a technology agreement, with Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandir of Belur for the exploration of industrial-scale production of green ammonia.
“We are pleased to announce that the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandir, Belur has awarded a joint venture agreement with Berger Paints India Limited for the study of pilot-scale and later industrial-scale creation of green ammonia by electrocatalytic process without green hydrogen,” according to the company in an exchange document.
Presently, It is the second-largest paint maker in India.

Q3 Results
In the third quarter of FY 2024, the consolidated profit of Berger Paints India increased by 49.21 percent year-on-year to Rs 300.16 crore, which was Rs 201.17 crore in the same period of the last financial year.
The company’s income increased by 6.99 percent annually to Rs 2,881.83 crore.
The company said its EBITDA was Rs 480.04 crore, an increase of 37.3 percent year-on-year.
