Nifty IT Index Boom: IT stocks have given a boost to the sluggish stock market ON Wednesday. Sensex reached the level of 82,004.35 on the strength of Infosys, HCL Tech, TCS, and Tech Mahindra.
Whereas, Nifty has reached an all-time high of 25,114.05 on the strength of L&T Mindtree, Wipro, and Infosys.
There is a tremendous jump in the Nifty IT (NSE: CNXIT) index. It has reached the level of 42675.10, up 2.32 percent.
A bumper jump is seen in the shares of all the 10 companies included in the Nifty IT index. Among these, LTI Mindtree has taken the highest flight.
Around noon, it has reached Rs 6100 with a jump of 6.06 percent. Coforge has gained 3.85 percent and was trading at Rs 6314.80.
Wipro is also jumping on Wednesday. It has jumped 3.74 percent. In the afternoon it was trading at Rs 536.50.
Mphasis has gained 2.77 percent. It has gained Rs 84 per share. Now it has reached Rs 3118.
Infosys has gained 2.61 percent. Now it has reached Rs 1949.60. Persistent has gained 2.59 percent. Now it is at Rs 5036.75.
Apart from these, LTTS has also jumped 2.23 percent to reach Rs 5610. HCL Tech has gained 1.43 percent.
Now this tech share is at Rs 1736. TCS is also trading 1.20 percent up at Rs 4551. Tech Mahindra has the lowest rise of 1.14 percent. Now it has reached Rs 1643.20.
