• Amad was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, but arrived in Italy when he was 8 years old.

• Amad began his youth career at Boca Barco’s youth team in September 2014. He was officially registered with the club on January 14, 2015.

• Amad signed for the club Atalanta in 2015. He helped Atalanta win the Campionato Primavera 1 title for two consecutive seasons, 2018-19 and 2019-20.

• On 27 October 2019, Amad made his Serie A debut against Udinese. He came as a substitute in the 79th minute and four minutes later scored his first goal for the club in a 7–1 home win.

• Amad debuted in the UEFA Champions League on 1 December 2020 against Midtjylland in a 1–1 home draw; he came as a substitute in the match in the 68th minute.

• On his 18th birthday, Amad changed his Instagram name from “Amad Traoré” to “Amad Diallo”, with a caption reading “don’t call me Traoré anymore.” His name was legally changed to Amad Diallo in September 2020.

• Amad was named in the Ivory Coast under-23 team for the 2020 Summer Olympics. He made his Olympic debut on 22 July 2021 against Saudi Arabia.

• Amad received his Italian passport in December 2020.

• For the remainder of the 2021–22 season, Amad was sent on loan to the Scottish Premiership club Rangers FC on 27 January 2022.

• After joining Sunderland A.F.C. in August 2022, Amad finished the 2022-23 season as Sunderland’s top goal scorer with 14 goals and 4 assists across all competitions.

• Amad scored his first Premier League goal for the club Manchester United on 15 May 2024 in a 3–2 victory against Newcastle United.
