According to a news, Sterlite Power Transmission Limited (SPTL) which is an entity owned by private equity of mining firm Vedanta Limited (NSE: VEDL), is transferring three of its power transmission projects located in India into its joint partnership with Singapore-based sovereign wealth fund GIC Pte. Three projects for power transmission in India are currently in development and have been approved, they will be handed over in the Sterlite Grid 32 Limited Joint Venture.
