Family Star is the latest bilingual family drama directed by Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame. The stars Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur are the protagonists, while Divyansha Kaushik, Ajay Ghoshm, and Abigayle Scobee are in the supporting roles. Gopi Sundar scored the songs and background music. Raju and Shirish funded the flick under the Sri Venkateshwara Creations production house.
Parasuram and Vijay Deverakonda teamed up once again for their first project with Mrunal Thakur. The teaser for this new drama was released on Wednesday (18 October 2023). The teaser shows Deverakond as a middle-class family man who does household duties like kitchen duties, buying vegetables, and dropping kids off at school.
