Huge Demand For This Share; Big Investor Bought 13% Stake; Hit Upper Circuit

On Wednesday, shares of Tourism Finance Corporation of India hit an upper circuit of 5% and its price reached Rs 231.20.

The share price on March 29, 2023 was at Rs 66.75. It is also the lowest 52 weeks for the share. This stock has increased by more than 200 percent in the last year.

Aditya Halvasia’s Investment Details

In reality, Aditya Halvasia bought 1,18,02,094 equity shares of Tourism Finance Corporation of India for an average of 209.75. 

At the same time, foreign investors Varenium India Opportunity exited the stock by selling its complete portion of its equity stake, which was 30,974,461 shares.

Varenium Capital Advisors traded 10,04,400 shares of equity. Furthermore, the promoter Prasansatri Holdings Pte sold 42,56,100 equity shares. 

Koppara Sajeev Thomas sold 34,443,133 equity shares at an average cost of 209.75 per share.

Promoter Pranasatri Holdings held 8.81 percent stake in the company as of December 2023, while Koppara Sajeev Thomas held 4.92 per cent.
