Suriya 42 title is “Kanguva,” a Mighty Valiant Saga, and it is a periodic drama helmed by Siruthai Siva. The film was bankrolled by Vamsi-Pramod and KE Gnanavel Raja under the production banners UV Creations and Studio Green. Bollywood Diva Disha Patani plays a female lead role in the film, while Natty Natraj plays the antagonist. It is the first collaboration between Siruthai Siva and Suriya. The film was shot in 3D, and it will be released in 10 languages.
On July 20, 2023, the makers of the Kanguva movie announced the first look poster release date as July 23, 2023, which will give a glimpse of Suriya’s role in the film.

Kanguva is currently filming its final schedule. According to sources, the post-production work started at the end of 2023. The makers are planning to release the film in two parts. The first part of Suriya 42 may hit the screens in Summer 2024.
