Salman Khan as Aman in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

In Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Salman plays the role of Aman, one of the most loved characters in the film. Aman sacrifices his love Anjali (Kajol) so that she can reunite with her unrequited love. Shah Rukh played the role of Rahul Khanna, Anjali’s best friend and childhood sweetheart. Rani Mukerji appears as Rahul’s friend whom Rahul marries.

Alvira wanted Salman to do KKHH

While Kajol, Shah Rukh and Rani had a significant amount of time in the film, Salman appeared only in the second half. However, Karan said that Salman has no concerns about his small role. “The star’s sister is close to me, so he kindly said that she had praised my script and that I should meet him the next day to narrate the film to him… In my wildest dreams, I never imagined that I would get the opportunity to narrate,” he revealed.

“I went with a prayer and a deep desire in my heart for a miracle and narrated the first part of the film as if my life depended on it… He looked at me at the turning point (at that time I looked as if I were in the desert (the desert and water can keep me alive)) and he offered me Water gently and said “I’m continuing!”, Karan continued and revealed why Salman actually joined the ship and thanked his sister Alvira.

Salman agreed to KKHH without a narration

He added: I was confused and said, “Did you not hear it in the second half?” He said ‘I love your father and my sister will kill me if I don’t do this film’ and that’s how Salman Khan was in KKHH. I am extremely grateful to Alvira and my parents’ goodwill for ensuring that I got the perfect Aman and Salman Khan for my first film! Gestures and stories like this don’t happen today! Happy birthday Salman! Much love and respect to you always. “Also, after 25 years, we will finally have a story to tell again… I will say nothing more than Merry Christmas.”

Meanwhile, Salman Khan celebrated his birthday with his friends and family in Mumbai. He cut his birthday cake with his niece Ayat at the party which was attended by several celebrities, including Bobby Deol, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Nandita Mehtani, Helen and Arpita Khan, Ayush Sharma and others.
