OK Play India is among the top toy manufacturing companies in India. On February 16, shares of OK Play India touched a new 52-week high of Rs 187.05 on BSE during the day. 

Following the closing of trading, the price of the share was 184 rupees. This represents an increase of this amount by 3.28 percent.

According to BSE data, the share of OK Play India was at the level of Rs 14 on December 13, 2019. On 16 February 2024, the share price closed at Rs 184 on BSE. 

This is how the share price has risen by 1214 percent over the last four years and has increased by 65 days.

The company was started in the year 1988 as Aquapure Containers Private Limited, which manufactured storage water tanks.

In 1992, it purchased the British toy company OK Play. After this, in the year 1993, the name of Aquapure Container was changed to OK Play India and it started manufacturing toys. 

In 1994 the company brought its IPO. OK Play India also manufactures school furniture and playground equipment for children.

Capitalization on the market of this company is 534 crores. As of January 29, 2014, promoters’ stake in OK Play India was 44.82 percent and the public’s was 55.18 percent. 

OK Play India’s total revenue on a consolidated basis declined year-on-year to Rs 41 crore in the December 2023 quarter. The revenue in the same quarter last year was Rs 47 crore.

Whereas the net profit was recorded at Rs 1.06 crore. A year ago the profit was Rs 4.48 crore.
