According to a Pinkvilla report, Shah Rukh Khan was approached by Lokesh Kanagaraj for his next film with Rajinikanth, and the Leo director wanted SRK to play an extra cameo in Thalaivar 171. Now, as tough as this should be, the superstar is firm but polite and calm. He said no to this idea.
SRK also offered Lokesh Kanagaraj to bring something bigger and bigger and bigger enough for them to work together, but not for a Rajinikanth film. However, interestingly, our research told us that this is not the first time that the Ra.One and Thalaiva actor have crossed paths.
Rajinikanth’s Enthiran Made To Be SRK’s Tamil Debut!

The winner played a North Indian boy who falls in love with a Tamil girl, played by Deepika Padukone. While it would have been interesting to see SRK and Rajini Anna together on screen, it would have been even more interesting to see the Dunki actor in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s stand-alone film!
