Career

Sophia Reid made her acting debut while first featuring in the romantic comedy-drama film The Sweetest Christmas in 2017. After making a debut, She appeared in a thriller television series Once Upon A Time as Young Anastasia. In 2018, Sophia came limelight for playing the role of Sarah Wykes in Phoef Sutton’s television series Darrow & Darrow.

In 2018, Sophia landed the role of Abby in the short film Hearts & Minds. For her compelling performance, she received a nomination for the Oniros Film Award’s best child actress.

Sophia’s acting career continued gaining momentum with roles in several television movies in 2018-2019, including playing Gigi in Santa’s Boots and Madison Bailey in Easter Under Wraps. Her breakout role came in 2020 when she starred as Karen Brewer in the Netflix comedy-drama series The Baby-Sitters Club. Portraying the fan-favourite character earned Sophia widespread popularity and critical acclaim, including two Joey Awards recognizing her achievement as Best Supporting Actress.

In 2021, she played the role of Annie Doyle in the holiday comedy film 8-Bit Christmas. That same year, she also appeared as Lily Lassiter in the Psych TV movie sequel Psych 3: This Is Gus.

Sophia’s television work in 2022 included a guest starring role as Angela Manderley in an episode of the horror anthology series Two Sentence Horror Stories. Later in 2023, she was cast as the character Erwin Page in an upcoming film titled Holiday Harmony.
