STAR is an upcoming Tamil movie directed by Elan of Pyaar Prema Kaadhal fame. Dada fame Kavin and Aditi Sudhir played the lead roles, with Lal and Lolu Sabha Maran in crucial roles. BVSN Prasad and Sreenidhi Sagar produced this film under their home banners, Rise East Entertainment and Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the songs and background scores.
A special promo was released on August 31, 2023, on the occasion of composer Yuvan Shankar Raja’s birthday. On January 28, 2024, the makers revealed Aditi’s look in the movie with a glimpse and revealed her character as Jimikky. Preity Mukhundhan’s first look teaser as Meera Malarkodi was released on YouTube and received hundreds of thousands of views.
