Manufacturers will not be able to release a new car every year, so they make some modifications to the design, add some features and release them as improved models. Here are the 10 noteworthy facelifts from this year:

1. Honda City facelift

One of the oldest and most popular sedans, the Honda City, was launched in a new avatar in 2020 and looked great while still retaining the legendary 1.5-litre VTEC petrol engine. In the facelift launched this year, there were some minor changes in terms of design, ADAS technology was added to the non-hybrid models, and a new variant of the hybrid model was introduced.

2. Tata Nexon/Nexon EV

The only things that remain the same are the chassis, engine and transmission options while a new DCA automatic gearbox has been added to the fleet.

The new Hyundai i20 received a facelift this year and now looks more closely related to the Euro-spec models. 8. MJ Hector/Hector Plus

The exterior looks bolder with a massive front grille that has plenty of chrome elements, while the interior has become more premium and now includes a larger touchscreen unit. BMW’s class-leading SUV gets a facelift this year with changes to both the exterior and interior. The front is now more modern and bolder, while the interiors now get the latest curved displays powered by BMW’s latest iDrive 8 system.
