Varshangalkku Shesham is a comedy-filled movie directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan of Hridayam fame. It features Pranav Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Kalyani Priyandarshan in the lead roles. Visakh Subramaniam produced the movie under the Merryland Cinemas banner. Amrit Ramnath composed the movie’s background scores and songs. Think Music acquired the label rights for the film’s music.
The same film crew of Hridayam was committed to this film, including some new faces like Dhyan Sreenivasan and Nivin Pauly. It is Pranav’s third full-fledged movie after the massive hit of the romantic drama Hridayam.
The teaser shows Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan celebrating in front of MGR’s cutout. Based on the video, we can see the celebration is about MG Ramachandran’s film, who is a former actor and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. With all the details gathered from the teaser, we conclude that the film mostly revolves around Malayalis settled in Tamil Nadu.

The filmmakers haven’t unveiled the information about the OTT release. As per sources, Disney Plus Hotstar might acquire the streaming rights. It’ll take at least 30 to 45 days from the theatrical release for the film to stream online.
