174% Return Last Year, More Gains Expected

Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd (NSE: AWHCL): After the release of the general budget on the 23rd of July, the market was in a frenzy to purchase shares in the water management as well as the waste disposal companies.

The share rose about 16 percent BSE during trade on Friday. The Ion Exchange shares rose 16 percent to reach Rs 767.

The waste management stock of Rs 855 with a 174 percent return last year, is expected to more gains.

Antony Waste Handling Cell rose 11 percent, bringing the price to Ra 902.25. In the same way, EMS shares rose 14 percent, and VA Tech Wabag shares rose 6 percent.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sirtharaman announced in her budget speech that the government will push for water supply, treatment of sewage, and waste treatment and services that will be provided to 100 major cities with bankable projects.

Following the announcement of the budget, the share price at Antony Waste Handling Cell has grown by 35 percent in the past 4 trading days.

This is the leading business in the area in the field of management and disposal. In the meantime, EMS shares have jumped by 30 percent.

The share of the waste management firm has increased by 122 percent since the low it hit at Rs 392.60 on the 4th of June.
