Dilip Buildcon Ltd (NSE: DBL): Civil construction company Dilip Buildcon has informed us that the bid made by it for an irrigation project in Madhya Pradesh through a joint venture has proved to be the lowest. A dam and irrigation network are to be prepared in this project.

In the information sent to the stock market, Dilip Buildcon said that the company’s joint venture Vijay Kumar Mishra Construction and Dilip Buildcon Limited JV (VKMCPL-DBL (JV)) was declared as L-1 bidder for Machhareva Irrigation Project Dam and Pressurized Pipe Irrigation Network. So JV’s bid was the cheapest.
According to the company, bids for the project were invited by the Water Resources Department of the Madhya Pradesh Government. The company informed us that the cost of this entire project is Rs 412.92 crore. The period to complete the project has been kept at 60 months.

In Thursday’s trading, Dilip Buildcon’s stock closed at Rs 450.85 with a decline of more than one percent. The stock has earned gains of over 100 percent over the past year.
The company’s profits during the quarter ended December was 95.29 crore. This was an improvement of 20%% over the previous year.
At the same time, EBITDA has increased by 24 percent on a year-on-year basis to Rs 344 crore. Net sales increased by 8 percent to Rs 2571 crore.
