United Spirits Ltd (NSE: UNITDSPR): The share of liquor giant United Spirits Ltd is on a strong rally. On Wednesday, it hit a new record high of Rs 1,417.30 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), an increase of more than 5 percent.
This rise comes after the company’s impressive results for the first quarter of FY 2024-25. The same company makes Black Dog liquor. The stock closed at Rs 1,395.35 on the NSE, up 4.76 percent.
On Tuesday United Spirits Ltd reported a 1.7 percent rise in its consolidated net profit for the June quarter. It rose to Rs 485 crore.
In a regulatory filing, the company said the figure was Rs 477 crore in the same period last year.
BUY Rating, Target Price
The first quarter revenue for the current year was 6,238 crore rupees, compared to 5,808 crore rupees in the previous year. Total expenses increased to 5,619 crore rupees in the first quarter.
In the same period in the previous financial year, 5173 crores rupees was spent. A brokerage firm in its report has given a BUY rating to United Spirits Ltd and a target price of Rs 1,375.
