Company Has Started New Energy Drinks Production; ₹1500 Share Target; Don’t Sell
Varun Beverages Limited (NSE: VBL) has revealed the beginning of commercial production of carbonated soft drinks and Energy drinks in their Gorakhpur facility in Uttar Pradesh.
The company disclosed this information in a report on the 13th of April.
On 31 December 2023, the company had advanced manufacturing facilities in 40 locations, 34 of which were in India and 6 worldwide.
In addition, it oversees its fleet of more than 2,500 vehicles, partners with more than 2,400 principal distributors, and manages over 120 depots, as stated in its 2023 annual report.
Profit Of The Company Grew In Q3
On 5 February, Varun Beverages reported a total profit of Rs 132 crore in the quarter ending December of FY24.
This is an increase of 77 percent from the Rs 75 crore reported in the same time frame the year before.
The quarter’s revenue was 2,731 crore, an increase of 21 percent compared to the 2,257 crore reported in the prior year period.

On April 12, Varun Beverages’s shares ended 2.38 percent lower at 1,390 rupees on the NSE. However, the company’s shares have risen approximately 50 percent over the past six months.

PepsiCo CSD brands that are produced & sold through VBL comprise Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mirinda Orange, Seven-Up, Seven-Up Nimbooz Masala Soda, Mirinda Lemon, Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew Ice, Evervess, Sting, Gatorade and Slice Fizzy drinks.
VBL has around 31 manufacturing facilities in India and more than six manufacturing facilities in international regions (two one in Nepal and one located in Sri Lanka, Morocco, Zambia, and Zimbabwe).
