Dear is the latest family drama directed by Anand Ravichandran. GV Prakash was roped in as a protagonist and music director, while Aishwarya Rajesh played the female lead in the film. It was bankrolled by Varun Tripuraneni and Abhishek Ramisetty in association with G Pruthviraj under the Nutmeg Productions banner. The film is set to be released in dual languages, Tamil and Telugu.
Anand Ravichandran’s previous film was Sethum Aayiram Pon, which was released in 2019. It is the first collaboration of Aishwarya Rajesh and GV Prakash as actors. As per the details hidden in the poster, lead characters Arjun and Deepika are a newly married couple. The husband finds out his wife has a snoring problem, which causes trouble in their lives.
