Rathnam is Vishal‘s 34th movie, directed by Hari. It features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, and others in vital roles. DSP (Devi Sri Prasad) has composed the background score and the songs. Kaarthekeyan Santhanam produced this flick under the Stone Bench Films and Zee Studios banner. Vishal shared the first look teaser and movie title on X page (formally known as Twitter) and wrote about his happiness in sharing the details of his feature film.
After the dazzling success of Thamirabharani and Poojai movies, Rathnam was his third movie with the director Hari. Further, it was expected to be a commercial film with action, romance, and comedy segments. While announcing the Rathnam movie, he shared his ideas for creating a sequel for the Thupparivalan movie in his own way.
