The Director of Reliance Retail who is a non-executive director as well as head Isha Ambani stated on the 29th of August at the 47th annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries that Reliance Retail will be entering the luxury jewelry market using a design-based model.

Isha Ambani stated that in the field of jewelry, there is a bold plan to break into the luxury jewelry market using a design-based style.

This will assist in doing things in the fashionable jewelry and accessories sector and further expand our market reach.

As a result of this, Reliance Retail will have to compete against Tata’s Caratlane and other brands already operating in this sector.

This company has working in the field of jewelry through Reliance Jewel. It is important to note that Reliance Jewel does not operate in the premium sector and concentrates exclusively on the market.

The company’s business strategy Isha Ambani said that with their integrated operation in style and fashion from design and fabric sourcing, to the logistics of distribution and shipping, they will be able to satisfy the needs of all fashion-conscious customers of their clients across the country and establish trends in fashion.

It is the only fashion company in India with a significant presence among all income levels. From the mainstream market to the premium and high-end segments, they have an impact everywhere.

The company’s e-commerce site Agio is growing quickly. Agio is competing with Walmart’s Myntra, Flipkart Fashion, Amazon Fashion, Nykaa Fashion, and more.

While products such as Flipkart Fashion target the mass market, Nykaa Fashion focuses on the elite base. Reliance will now focus on the premium segment, along with the mainstream.

Isha Ambani stated that the new formats such as Eusta and Swadesh are fast and easy to access fashion items.

While Ajio is occupying a dominant position as a fashion website, Ajio Luxe is also increasing its presence for high-end and luxurious customers.

Their collaboration together with ASOS along with Shein will bring fashionable fashions into the Indian market while staying in tune with fashion trends across the world.
