Man Orders Food From Swiggy, Gets The Same Six Times. Here’s What Happened » Today Latest Stories

It takes a moment to realize that the technology around us is so far away and we, the end consumers, can only do so much about it. Take ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) for example, Praanay Loya. A lawyer, on Thursday, took to the microblogging site to explain how 6 managers from Swiggy were found at his door after failing to order food on the delivery app.

Explaining what happened, Loya said he placed an order on the program and the money was withdrawn. But the plan was not finished. The customer tried to order another one but the same thing happened. The lawyer then changed the policy and opted for the COD or Cash on Delivery option instead of paying for future purchases. After several failed attempts, he jumped to another delivery app and finally placed the items he needed to be delivered home.

Then a strange thing happened.

The lawyer started receiving calls from Swiggy officials who would go to his house carrying the order.

Multiply food X 6, Loya got 20 liters of milk, 6kg Dosa batter, 6 packs of pineapple, he said in a tweet.

Thinking about what to do with all the things he didn’t want, Loya asked the good people at ‘X’ for their suggestions and they kindly obliged.

Predicting the future.
