Amidst the selling in the market, on Monday, the first trading day of the week, investors fell on the shares of the wealth management company- Anand Rathi Wealth. 

Anand Rathi Wealth shares gained 5 percent on BSE after the company approved a buyback of Rs 164.65 crore through a tender offer. The price of the shares set a new record of Rs. 4,215 during trading.

With this, the stock crossed its previous high of Rs 4,199.80 touched on March 4, 2024.

What Is The Company’s Plan?

Anand Rathi Wealth detailed the buyback in an exchange filing. 

The company announced that the board of directors has approved the buyback plan of 3,70,000 equity shares at 4450 rupees for each equity share.

This will amount to Rs 164.65 crore in total. This amounts to 0.88 percent of equity share capital that has been paid up to the total.

Stock Performance

Let us tell you that the share price of Anand Rathi Wealth in the stock market has increased by 394 percent in the last year, while the S&P BSE Sensex has increased by 23 percent.

It has increased 130 percent in the last six months, as opposed to an 11 percent increase for the index used for benchmarking.

Anand Rathi Wealth is India’s leading investment company.

In addition to the Private Wealth sector (PW) and the Private Wealth vertical (PW), 

the company also has two other new tech-based business segments i.e. Digital Wealth (DW) and Omni Financial Advisors (OFA).

Anand Rathi Wealth achieved revenue of Rs 752 crore in the financial year 2024 (FY24). It recorded a healthy growth of 35 percent year-on-year. 

Talking about profit, it increased by 34 percent to Rs 226 crore, which is more than the forecast for the financial year. 

Assets under management (AUM) recorded a 52 percent year-on-year growth to Rs 59,351 crore.
