This Railway Share Running Like Bullet Train After 2 Big Order; Share Will Double?

There’s been a significant increase in stocks of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (NSE: RVNL). The shares of the railway firm have increased by over 11% throughout Thursday, to increase to Rs 248.05. 

The increase in the share price of Rail Vikas Nigam has come because of receiving two major orders. 

The Rail Vikas Nagam-Salasar joint venture has received a letter of acceptance to Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission for 220kV and 132kV transmission lines,

The company announced this in an exchange report. This is worth 173.98 crore. 

In addition, Rail Vikas Nigam has received an order of about 106.37 crore from MP West Zone Electricity Distribution Company Limited.

The state-owned railway company is receiving an order for about Rs 47.36 crore in the form of Central Railways. 

This is a communications and signaling work in the Khapri-Sevagram area that is part of the Nagpur division. 

The joint venture between Rail Vikas Nigam and URC received the work at Rs 543 crore from Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation.

The railway company received the work order of the sum of 409.65  crore in the form of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board.

RVNL implements projects by awarding contracts on a turnkey basis to international norms and practices. 

Additionally, 5 Workshop Projects and one cable bridge with a stayed structure have been completed.

The projects are currently being implemented by 36 PIUs scattered across the nation. 

RVNL is also an Equity Part of an SPV that includes 12 major Ports under the Ministry of Shipping.

RVNL has managed to attract an investment of 6,139 crores. The RVNL/HSRC was tasked to conduct feasibility studies of HSR corridors that run between Mumbai and Chennai, Delhi Amritsar, Delhi Kolkata, and Delhi-Mumbai.
