McTony Salvage Yard Robbery is finally available in GTA Online. It was added earlier today 28 December 2023 with the New Year’s Update and can easily be completed within an hour. It goes without saying that you must own Salvage Yard to have access to McTony and the two other vehicle thefts available this week. The Salvage Yard properties are listed in foreclosures with Maze Bank.

As of this writing, you can complete the McTony Robbery to steal a new Fathom FR36, then sell it for a maximum of $360,000 or salvage it for $288,000 in the GTA Online New Year Update.

GTA Online Guide: How to Complete McTony Robbery in New Year’s Update

To start McTony Robbery, access the Salvage Yard PC (added with the GTA Online Chop Shop update) and select Fathom FR36. This vehicle is currently linked to the theft, but a different vehicle may be involved in the future.

After choosing a vehicle, you can start the Scope Out: Submarine mission. It involves taking pictures of three specific objects at the location marked on the map, but you’ll also have to fight some guards there simultaneously.

Once you’ve taken all three photos, return to the GTA Online Salvage Yard to complete the mission. You can then start one of the two mandatory planning missions, Tony’s Submersible Equipment and Sonar, from the computer.

The first planning mission involves stealing Tony McTone’s submarine. It will be located on the map, but you will have to neutralize all the guards at the site first, then climb the lever to reach the release switch.

Doing so will drop the sub into the water, allowing you to steal it and deliver it to the delivery location.

The second Planning Action mission involves going to a warehouse and stealing sonar equipment and delivering it to your salvage yard in GTA Online. However, there will be guards outside as well as inside, and you will have to search through several chests to find equipment.

After the business planning tasks, you must complete the two mandatory tasks. One involves stealing security clothing and the other involves stealing a cutting torch. Both tasks are fairly easy and should only take a few minutes.

However, tasks cannot be started from the Salvage Yard computer. Their locations will be marked on the map with a green duffle icon, and you must go to these locations to access these missions in GTA Online.

After completing the planning work and mandatory tasks, you can start the McTony GTA Online Robbery Finals from the Salvage Yard computer. In this mission, you will first have to get to the stolen submarine, use sonar equipment to locate and enter Tony McTone’s submarine.

The entrance to the submarine will be underneath. So take the submersible underneath and press the button in the top left corner of your screen.

Once inside, you will first have to destroy all the navigation systems, then find and kill Tony McTony’s head of security to steal the control codes.

Enter these codes into the console on the submarine’s bridge, take control of it, and crash it onto the nearby beach. Finally, you must activate the landing pad and steal the target car and deliver it to your Salvage Yard after losing the wanted level.

There will be a lot of guards in the submarine, so be alert and pack snacks and armor to maintain your health. Although this makes it a bit difficult, the heists added with the GTA Online Chop Shop update are a lot of fun to play. They can stay engaged while they wait for more information about GTA 6 and the Florida Joker controversy to end.
